Your responsibilities:
- Assist the head physician in managing clinical workflows and operational processes within the neurology department
- Act as deputy for the head physician during absences, ensuring seamless leadership continuity
- Perform neurological diagnostics, examinations, and consultations in line with clinical protocols
- Oversee inpatient care for neurology patients, including stroke unit and intermediate care station responsibilities
- Manage interdisciplinary patients with neurological comorbidities within the geriatrics center
- Provide neurological care in early rehabilitation programs, leading a multidisciplinary team comprising nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, neuropsychology, and social work
Your profile:
- Specialist qualification in neurology or combined neurology and psychiatry
- Proven clinical experience in specialist and senior physician roles within neurology
- Expertise in Doppler duplex sonography (extra- and intracranial) and neurological electrophysiology
- Strong team orientation and open communication style
- High commitment to patient-centered care and ability to maintain composure in critical situations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to drive innovation and optimize clinical processes
